About RBS Seafood Harvesting

In 1976 our father, Richard Strong, moved from Southern California with family in tow to the beautiful coast of Vancouver Island.

With not an ounce of fishing knowledge he went out and purchased his first commercial salmon fishing vessel and put us all to work.

Since then our family has fished many different types of fisheries such as halibut, prawns, tuna, urchins and sea cucumbers. Through these various fisheries we have developed close International relationships with all types of fishermen and buyers. We have also established solid customer foundations with the operation of retail stores.

RBS Seafoods Harvesting Ltd was established in the wake of all these adventures and is proudly owned and operated by William Strong whom, with his many years as a fisher, understands the needs of both fishermen and buyers.
