Our spot prawns are harvested in the waters of British Columbia’s West coast. Like all products offered by RBS, these spot prawns are 100% wild.
The harvest season is brief, lasting typically 30- 50 days beginning in the first weeks of May. A short season allows for careful monitoring of fishing areas to ensure sustainability of the fishery.
Each prawn is finger-packed in to 1 kg boxes and frozen at sea onboard the fishing vessel. This means the prawns are frozen the same day they are caught, bringing you the highest quality product.
